    Hornbeam..excellent work neat as usual.. [​IMG] it must have been hard to cut that magic wand out ??

    Thanks Wildflower. I don't actually cut out as such. I draw a rough outline with the freehand tool and then move the wand to a blank page. Then I paint out the unwanted background until I just have the wand. Paste the wand in a new position. Paint out old position of wand

    Copy cottage and distort it into a globe shape. Paste cottage on crystal ball as a mask layer. Set brush to low opacity and paint over cottage so that the reflections in the crystal ball shine through. Stop when it looks as if the cottage is actually inside the globe. Merge layers down.

    :eek: :eek: :confused: Their is no way my pc could cope with all those commands next time that notice comes up in my paint shop i will copy it and show it you..as it just keeps saying their isnt enough memory for the tasks..I am struggling along..I clean my discs every time i have made 2 pictures to keep it moving along..

    Love the purple, sparkly treatment of your crystal ball, WF. Your computer may have memory problems but you overcome that with sheer artistic talent

    Perhaps we should start a second thread for source photos. Then we can put the butterflies, cottages and other photos there and just leave this thread for the Gallery. What do you all think?
