    Hi Marge - here are some gold letters for you.

    Open new page and flood with colour. Add text in chosen colour (I chose yellow for gold) Enlarge and then go to 3D tools. Play around with Inner Bevel tool until you get the light and shade effect that you want. Add Drop Shadows if wanted, Buttonise.

    Yes, but what is it? A title and just once in a while some info on how it's done would be nice. Go on - force yourself.

    Love my letter HB - have had a try and did quite well - then started mucking about with something else and got carried away!!
    How did you do the tree then?

    it's skimmia berries with raindrops (rutaceae family)
    dry brush filter, contrast bumped up & cropped

    Tree was just shading with burn brush and eyes painted in. Then I did a mirror reflection and added curlicules


    Love the coloured letters, Roders - much better than mine!

    Sort of copied your technique H for my snowdrop pic. Tried to graduate the colour from top to bottom before copying and flipping it.

    Yes it does doesnt it? I like the way the leaves intertwine [​IMG] Just noticed some black on some of the flowers on the right side - dont know how that happened :(
