    perhaps this isnt the right sort of flower to get a good black and white effect ???

    you can also turn a white daisy black withe split channell efect..

    Love it WF. There is a lot to be said for black and white photography

    Its just finding the right sort of flowers to make a black and white picture look sharp..i dont think the poppy worked very well..but the daisy isnt too bad..i quite like black and white photos and sepia effects as well..

    The Daguerrotype was invented in 1839 and was a process whereby the image was captured on a thin copper plate covered with silver. No negative was possible and so each image was unique. The glass negative came after 1855.

    I like that daguerrotype and will play around with that again

    Its the chinese new year coming up i cant find a decent pig anywhere but rosa said we could use hers from the photo comp..
