Time travel. I've been playing around with Marge so I hope that she doesn't object

Marge as a daguerreotype 1839-1855


An albumen print from the first glass negatives. 1855-1890


An expensive platinum print from the naughty nineties. 1873-1920


Then came the Box Brownie which brought cheap photography to all. 1900-1960

 

Make overs . I've upgraded my software and that gives me more tools. I can now give magazine style makeovers to photos which remove blemishes, whiten teeth and soften skin. I can even give you a suntan! If anyone wants the Hollywood treatment contact me by PM. No charge and no photos will be shown on GC without your permission..

Marge doesn't need any improvement, but this gives an idea of the result.

this is my eldest daughter faye when she had a makeover

 

this is the other one, i got two small black negatives so i put them up to the light and took a photo of them and this is the result, saved me taking them to the photographers to get them printed out.

thanks wildflower, faye is my eldest 26 now, shes a lovely girl well both of my daughters are very loving, guess i,m lucky having 2 lovely girls.

thanks hb iff you want you can use the pics to put a nice frame on them iff you like its up to you your more than welcome.tried sending this 3 times now flood protection keeps coming up does anyone else have this carry on.

 

rosa ..I have that flood protection thing all the time especially when i am zipping around with photos..and also in the evening as my pc isnt the fastest to start with..its really annoying..grrrrrrrr

 

Faye framed. I didn't need to do much except give her a light tan. I won't know how it looks to you as so much depends on how each of us set the colours and brightness of our monitor screens.

 

wildflower its getting worse its very annoying in the games section when it keeps happening and it happens in a section say pets corner and no one else is in for it to be flooded.
my pc was just slow then and it was just at a stand still when i was answering before then this flood protection kept coming up so it cant be my pc its gc.

 

hb its great looks like you have put mascara on her eyes, she looks very 60s 70s and love the frame, will copy it and send it to my daughter i will tell her shes had a hollywood makeover :D :D
