The makeover of Faye is very good. The only downside to me is that she has lovely blue eyes and these seems to have got lost somewhere.

 

You may prefer this version which leaves the eyes undarkened. One of the problems with this photo and that of Marge is the small size of the original that I have to start with. When I enlarge it to work on it - I just get large pixels. The starting point should be a full size photo of 2000x1000 pixels, but websites only accept them much smaller. Oh well :(

 

hb took the picture off this slide, held it up to the light so i,m really suprised i got the picture so well.
you have done a great job with it fantastic looks much better, especially with what i gave you to work with and faye doesnt have the photograph just those 2 slides, well i pinched them off her a while ago and just found them.

 

Phew! Amazing that you got anything from a photo of a slide, Rosa. You must have a steady hand! If you take the slides into a photo shop in your nearest town, they should be able to print them for you.

 

hb i was quite suprised myself tried it again and things in the background i could see in fayes picture.
will take it to a photo shop and have it printed off and enlarged and the other one of her

 

Much better, Hornbeam! Faye's eyes are too lovely to lose them.

Excellent Marge. The idea of flowers or objects coming out of the frame is a good one. I'll have to follow your lead on that idea. Your cutting out of intricate shapes is very accurate. Well done!

 

love the empress i realised after i should have used my newer set to scan one in and i have removed it.. it did look a grubby card as they have been used a great deal..
I too will have a go at what you have done marge will have to look for some suitable flowers to do it with..
