windy.. Do you mean like this ??
well i selected that photo then i put colour black in the materials box its over on the right on my paint shop its where all the colours and textures are..then i selected flood fill tool on the tool bar ..then i right clicked the flood fill tool behind the flowers,,then i went to effects and chose geomatric circle and colour matched the colour from the flowers just by clicking the colour box in the geomatric then i clicked the circle and hey presto this is what i ended up with,,,

PS..I am sure HB and Marge do it different..and i am sure their are instructions in creative art somewhere i will have a look for you..as hb put a few instructions up a few wekks ago,,,

I have been and looked back in this section and around page 66 you will find some basic instructions this is one i found of HB as he does it totally different to me..

To put something on to a black background, you isolate it with the magic wand tool. Go to selections and click on invert. Then flood the background with blackpaint using the Paint Bucket tool. The trick is to use the Magic Wand to capture the subject and seperate it from background clutter. Much depends on the nature of the photograph. Even so, it is essential to experiment with the Tolerance levels (1-100) of the magic wand. If you don't get that right you get bits missing or fragments of background atached. You then have to laboriously paint them out.
