That sounds like a good idea HB [IMG] Although it'll be a while yet before I have anything to add to the techniques thread, I could do with as much help as I can get

I think it's a good idea too, HB, to have 3 threads - and I've been using search quite a bit recently, and it worked fine. What are you trying to find?

I was trying to find the picture that someone put up of the statue of the horse. I went on a bit about selections and inverting then. I searched for "selection" and "invert" and all I was directed to was a post way back in November 2006.

Hb..Excellent idea are you going to sort the two titles then all you need to do is start two new threads and leave the photos for creative art where they are ..what are you going to do with this post rename it or close it ??

The horses you cut out and instructions are on page 97

Tried a few different words and got to exactly the same place as you HB. [IMG]

Think you may have to try to fix when it was, and manually search that time period.

I suggest we leave this thread intact but use it just for gallery pictures from now on. The thread where people leave pictures for us to play with can stay intact as well. So that just means one new thread. Shall we call it "Computer art techniques"? There may well be cross over of techiniques relating to the new Creative Photo competiton, but that shouldn't worry anyone

OK - so it may be best to start by answering specific questions rather than trying to produce a complete tutorial

    "How do you do....?"
