I don't think that I can teach you anything, Platty. I'm just a beginner. Your Sunset Heads is stunning. Fabulous! How did you do it?

At my stage, Hornbeam, just by 'messing around'. I couldn't repeat it as a result. But I am encouraged to mess around further and see what happens. Much more fun than using Photoshop straight. Thanx for setting me off.

Rosa..i will copy the new pic of ricky and see if i can make him look beautifull.. :D as i know its to cheer your friend up..
dag..do you want me to remove the lights of the indian picture if you want to paint it..??
Platanoides...just keep playing around and you will be surprised what comes out..we all have to start somewhere..some of my early pictures were really basic..And i still have a lot to learn as their are things i am determined to get my head round this week..Marge is probably the most expert as she has done a course on it so her work is really good..

Yes - some (most) is tricky to understand. I'm grappling with layers and selections still. Really want to move objects from one photo to another, re size and change etc etc. Got the ideas in my head but how do I get them on to the screen? Part of the fun is finding out, but it can be so frustrating. Still - nothing worthwhile comes without effort.
