    Hundreds of photographs to use

I came across Freefoto and wondered if we could use their images for use in our 'challenges' so I wrote to them as follows.

    Subject: Use of Freefoto Photographs

Would it be possible, under your terms of agreement, to use your photographs as starting images?
I belong to a small group of people (about 8) who take photographs and creatively produce different images from them. They are purely for personal amusement and only appear on the website where we post and share them with each other. In many if not all examples, the original picture is radically altered. An example of one of my own images is shown below

    Kindest regards

Platty Comment --- I attached an example.
    Today I received the following reply;

    Freefoto answer

    Hi

Thanks for taking the time to write to us.

We are happy to accept your proposals outlined

Please provide a link to FreeFoto.com and mark the image as (c) FreeFoto.com

Platty comment -- Their website if you want to have a look is at

    http://www.freefoto.com/browse.jsp?id=100-0-0

There photo menu is on the left. All we would need to to is to acknowledge that the pic we use was one of theirs and give a link to them.

    Anyone interested?

    Platty

Very much so, Platty! Well done! I nicked a few photos from Flickr ( the Earth and the moon in space) and wondered if I was going to be in trouble with copyright. Thanks

    Hi All

As I read it we only need to say 'Freefoto image' and give a link on the original picture that we post.

Once altered I think the image is our copyright

This is the first of Freefoto images so I have put the details, as they requested, at the bottom of the picture.

Keep going Roders -- that is a great start--- don't compete just play around with images and buttons and learn as you go.

I am sure I speak for all the 'gang' when I say 'keep on experimenting and sharing with us'.
