Platty's Washed Up and Wildflower's Guy Fawkes are brilliant! Both would make excellent magazine covers or posters.

I have been away all day and just logged on. Thank you all for your kind comments. I seem happiest in the 'washed up' type of picture.

I just don't seem to have the creative and imaginative approach that you folks can manage so easily. I really like both WF and HB's interpretation of Westminster.

Thanks for posting it Roders. The answer to your 'How the Hell' question is by manipulating 7 layers simultaneously.

I had a look back at pages one to fifteen and it is amazing how we have all developed as a result of this thread.

Much thanks to you HB for getting it going.

Yes - it is setting the challenges that has pushed us. That and learning from each other. Long may it continue and in a non-competitive manner too.

You've seen this one before, but how about it as a challenge? You put together a montage of your home town, village or county - whatever. You can go out and take photos, use some from your files or download. Just show us where you call home.

It wouldnt be right if we all had the same style as then it would just be boring and each and every one copying the others ideas..
Platanoides and marge are both very neat workers and it shows in their pictures.. [IMG] Greenwizard has very modern tastes in her work..Hornbeam has a interesting imagination.. :D and not forgetting roders as he has produced some interesting work in the past which had a fun element to them..And mine well i allways look for the mystical in each picture..Its just good we are all different..lets hope we continue to grow..

    Hi guys

Just logged in this morning to find that my main computer has crashed --- the CPU was running very slow and it now has frozen completely. So I am posting this from my backup computer which does not have my Photoshop programme loaded.

An SOS has gone out to my son who is an electronic engineer --very helpful --- and he will be along for major surgery by the sound of things.

Meamwhile I will just log on from time to time to keep in touch and, hopefully, get back to imaging ASAP.

That is a great montage, WF and the pencil effect works very well. Excellent!

Hope your computer problems are sorted soon, Platty.

Love the Odin images, WF. That figure top right is from a Danish rune stone and I am half way through carving it in oak. Another coincidence!

I thought you might be interested to see the original. It's well over 1000 years old.
