Well Marge - Wildflower knows more about the Tarot than I do. This is my reading of your card:

The Minor Arcana has 56 cards which equate to our playing cards minus the four Knights. The Queen of Hearts was formerly the Queen of Grails, Chalices or Cups. The grail, cup or chalice symbolises the essential feminine - womanhood.

Reading from various packs that I have, the Queen of Grails is "intuitive and sympathetic, her compassionate nature embraces all; she imparts the gift of love to all who encounter her, deeply emotional"

Another says " A beautiful, loving woman, intuitive and yet practical. Happy marriage, visionary."

And a third says "Good woman, honest, devoted, loving and a perfect spouse"

    I'll spare you further blushes!

I added the snowflakes and poinsettas to symbolise softness and flowers because it's Christmas. The champagne is there because you look as if you know how to celebrate life and enjoy yourself. I may not know much about the Tarot and only you will know how accurate the above notes are. However, I used to be a portrait photograher and do know something about faces. From that alone, I judge that the readings do fit you very well indeed and that is why I saw you as the Queen of Grails rather than as the Queen of Pentacles, Wands or Swords.

OK Fran. I need a photo and some info about your interests would help. PM if you prefer. The old court cards were the kings, queens, knights and knaves (or pages - our jacks). In modern Tarot packs, knights and knaves can be male or female. So - for example -a keen horsewoman could be seen as a knight.

I am usin Wildflower's membership to post this. Thank you all for the beautiful pictures of our cat who died. My daughter is especially grateful because she misses the cat very much and is still grieving for her. These pictures serve as a wonderful momentum of her life and will be put up on her wall. I cannot believe that you have all made so much from such a small photo which was all we had to remember her by. Thanks to your efforts in altering and enhancing the photos, we now have so much more to help us thruogh our grief.
    Thanks once again. Freda
I have also looked at the creative pictures you have all put up, I always look forward to viewing them when visiting Wildflower, so much creativity and hard work seems to have gone onto these and they are a pleasure to look at.

Bless you, ma'am! I look forward to turning you into a card :D

Your cat was a real beauty and we were all horrified and saddened by your loss. If our pictures helped, then we are so pleased. Always nice when someone says thanks [IMG] [IMG]

What excellent and creative work you have all been doing since my computer problems stopped me in my tracks. All seems to be up and running again thanks to the skill of my son.

I thought I would celebrate with a wee image derived from one of the ones Marge posted.
