Thanks G, I was worried about the text but thought it looked more like a 'card' with it. W, if you would like me to have a go for you, I will - but Im not that brill! You could send me all the bits you want to use and I'll have a go - but keep trying yourself too, cos Im sure youll get there in the end
The dog cards I did were my faves too, but I used them last year! I will send this one off to be printed - I have another design Im going to print myself - will put it up late

 

I like this Marge.

Your proverb talks of truth and simplicity and it is the simplicity of this card with the red text and the robin contrasting with the grey/white background that works for me.

You have captured the essence of a snowy day and the warmth of Christmas all in one card. That is great.

 

I love it Marge and the text works fine for me. The only change I might suggest is a slight blue tint to the snow? That would make it look whiter.

WF asked for a challenge - how about something conected with Rememberance Day? Poppies, war memorials, soldiers etc. Doesn't have to be gloomy, but we all should remember. Soldiers are still dying needlessly today of course through politicians stupid pride!

Hornbeam well have you got some poppy pictures as i only have oriental poppys??I hope you are also taking part.. :D i look forward to seing everyones designs..all will be different and special..
