Hi folks, lovely stuff you've all been making. I've been knitting a bit lately too. just finished this cardi for my youngest, man it was a nightmare "eyelash" wool or something! One strand with bobbles on and the other one furry, a nightmare to knit and a impossible to unpick if you go wrong! thankfully I chose a plain pattern!!

I am presently on my 2nd scarf for charity (sending to kiddies abroad I think, MIL asked me to help her)

Isn't it just awful when you have to unpick work you've spent hours knitting up?? I guess it happens to the best of us occasionally.

I've just finished the 2nd scarf for charity. now I want to make myself a hat, before my youngest decides she wants more babydoll clothes!

any good free hat patterns out there? I dont want anything fancy, as I'll use fancy wool (once I decide what I want and buy some!)

Hello my knitting friends. I'm sorry I haven't responded to this thread as I have been quite sick. I have had swine flu on top of my other ailments and it hit me quite hard. This is week 3 and I am hoping to pop out for a short while this morning but feel exhausted already.
I will look forward to catching up on this thread a bit later. I have bought a beautiful brooch type thing for my cardi/jacket when I get going again! :)
