Our Oxfam shop sometimes has a "knitting" morning where squares are knitted presumably for blankets. I will ask about it when I next go in as I think it's a great idea. I love the idea of knitting those tiny teddies for children who are taken into hospital. Has anyone seen them?

Aw that is just so cute :) I love to see babies in hand knitted clothes.

I have been doing some of my jacket. I nearly bought more wool yesterday but I resisted or I will start something else :hehe:

    I'm on Ravelry as well:o
I've just started knitting my first ever pair of socks and was amazed to find how many people knit them - can't wait to finish the second sock of the pair so that I have some warm socks for in my wellies:)

Hi Fmay, good luck with the socks. My knitting is sitting here but it gets put to the back of my list :hehe:

I love just looking at the Ravelry site, there are some great patterns there.
