    I ahva great knit hat pattern on out of my knit an dcrochet book using size 10 needles if you wouldl like the pattern pm me.

    And its so soft to work with a nice feeling its Italian yarn.

    I will pm you pattern if you want it does not scan very well.It really is cosy.

    Just finished two cable jumpers with matching bobble hats for my youngest great nephew.Got a bit tired of knitting after three aran cardigans last year.Nicely started again now,might even make my younger son an aron sweater.

    Hi Scotkat, thanks for the pm :) I bought two balls of yarn in town today and will take it away with me over Christmas. I should have enough for the hat and something else!!

    Hi Sparky, I used to knit a lot more when my boys were young but I got fed up with it but have started again. :) You will have to try to get some pics on here!

    Kath it wont take you long to make .

    Pattern said 10mm needles but I downsized to 8mm and this worked better for me.

    What colour is your yarn?

    They didn't have the same as you used so I opted for Sirdardenim ultra-cotton and wool mix. It is a sort of lilac and white mix. I will probably put buttons on but flowers would look nice too!

    My sirdar click yarn crocheting a waitcoat for myself.

    I have not seen sirdar denim but am sure it will be just as nice but do love the pattern makes a nice hat.

    Do you have an easy crochet or knit pattern for gloves Kath?

    Hi Scotkat, thanks yes I have some mittens and scarf patterns. I am now printing off your pattern then will find the needles etc.
    Love the crochet work, what a posh crochet hook!

    I bought these on ebay some time ago Brittany hooks they may still have them.

    I will post photo of waistcoat good luck for Friday.
