    Wow, how lovely to have a large family. I'm sure they do keep you busy. When sons were babies they wore all handknitted things, even little all in one suits. Everyone used to comment on how lovely they looked. My mum was a keen knitter then.

    Have finished the hat Scotkat, am now knitting some mittens to use up the rest of the wool and will post a pic soon. I added two buttons to the hat like you did and it finishes it off nicely.
    Next I want to do a blue one.

    Sorry it took so long Scotkat-here is the finished article. The hat looks small but it fits perfectly, just right for all this cold weather and snow we have again. I need to get on with my other knitting but find I can do only small chunks at a time now.

    I have now started another baby cover pink this time been asked to maked another one.

    Its our knitting and crochet group again this afternoon .
