I have sent the pattern via pm as it was a bit long to put here. It says it is for a small hand but it fits my hand easily and my hands are quite big as they are a bit swollen at the moment. I made them in chunky knit, Hope you get the pattern ok

Yes m1 is "make" 1 as in increase. On the purl increases you do it purlwise. I used to crochet years ago, don't know if I could now!

Dad passed away 4yrs ago ,he told me he crocheted when he was in the Navy

Ran out of yarn for picot edge but got this for nothing from our local wool shop to get it finished.
