I think you're right ScotKat. The cape would look nice in a lacy, lightweight yarn. Something for summer evenings.

Hi i have not posted on gardeners corner for ages , and the reason i have not posted is because i have become A CROCHET ADDICT .

but when i recieved an email informing about the new gardeners corner, i thought i would take a look , and i notice that i am not alone in my crocheting , i just love it , but the only problem is that i am putting on weight because i am spending to much time with my addiction, i really must get out in the garden again and be a bit more balanced, and to top it all when we booked our holidays for this year the hubby said ,are you going to lose a bit of weight for the hols OH DEAR

but back to your crocheting , i just love it well done .

i have been making quite a few beanie hats this cold winter with a nice crocheted flower on the side , and my pride and joy is a very large mexican type blanket in multi colours with a chevy logo in the middle for my hubby as we have an chevy astro van .
here it is on our double size bed , i have found a real good place to visit online called crochetvilla if you are a crochet addict like me you would find it a good place to show off your crochet
