    Not many ladies have the capability or the patience to knit or sew nowadays, so Scotkat in that sense is a rarity...

    Bought nice yarn when I was over in States for christmas to crochet for myself a nice waistcoat.

    Now that all my hats and neck warmers are finished can now make for me.

    Can now put my feet up and crochet in nice warmth.

    Just finished let you see so far but going to take back bottom finish as taken up too many stitches and has gone frilly.

    But you can see the idea.

    Very nice Scotkat, I have to say I quite like the frilly bottom, depends what it looks like on though.

    Celia wore my waitcoat with pride yesterday and it was so cosy and admired and yes like the frill.

    Got more yarn yesterday now crocheting a slouch beret for myself.

    A bit of me time as mad a lot of hats an dneck wamrmers for others.

    Now they are all finished get my own made.

    Scotkat now that hat is more like my colours I have always had very loud dress sense so has one of my sons Dan who has been into hawaiian shirts for over five years now....even his very plain ones are way too loud for some people!

    Love the little frill edge on your waist coat I bet it keeps you nice and warm! [​IMG]

    I too loved that colour my late Mums favoutrite colour,russeld up a pair of wrist warmers more my colours how do you like thse keeps your hands nice and cosy. [​IMG]

    While the snow was on this afternoon.

    Real wild blizzards for a while.

    Got fancy yarn this afternoon to make another Beret and neck warmer to match.It knits up a to look sif it has knots in the yarn very effective.
    Also a bag of yes mixed green yarn for �£2.50 just had to buy could not pass that buy.

    Add this yarn to my box of yarn for a snowy or rainy day.
