Crocus bulbs planted in Autumn, now appearing on the surface - Frost Heave?

    Thank you @JennyJB and @Escarpment I'm wallpapering all this weekend, exciting, NOT But will have a scratch and sniff early next week.

    I inherited the garden when I moved in 2022 and do remember that I have seen Grape Hyacinths, so that might be them!

    There are lots of naturalised yellow crocuses (the ones I bought are purple/mauve), and they are mostly up already, so will have a good look at their leaves, so I will know what I am looking at next time!

    Yes, that could be it. Muscari bulbs are very small. I was checking my bulb pots yesterday and found one with muscari just about to flower.
