you should take a visit here sometime brackenbeads, i guess these pictures would of stirred some memories for you

 

They did indeed rosa, sand in the egg and tomato sandwiches and all that. The Spanish City (what a shame it's gone now) was like Disneyland to me when i was a kid.

 

we always had that as kids egg and tomato will have to do that havnt had them for ages, they have ruined whitley bay went really down and dirty but the council are cleaning up their act and they are going to give the place a major uplift.
Tynemouth is just as pretty as ever such a lovely little village and of course they have the advantage of the castle which is great for tourists and of course our fish & chips are superb
