                I heard Toumani play at Dartington Hall in 2008. On the shelf I have The Mande Variations and would also recommend In the Heart of the Moon and Ali and Toumani (with Ali Farka Toure).

                  Thanks for the recommendations, @NigelJ! :) I have Kaira, New Ancient Strings and the album a few Malian musicians produced with Damon Albarn. Yeah, the Ali and Toumani album is fantastic, I've listened to it in its entirety on YouTube quite a few times! Haven't listened to The Mande Variations or In The Heart Of The Moon yet, look forward to checking them out!

                  I posted links to some of these masterpieces on YouTube for anyone interested, as individual tracks can't really capture their brilliance IMO. :smile:

                          We continue to have the new Placebo album practically on loop but I did discover this the other night...........
