This is not a brilliant version of the song but the song is famous. Anthony Newley and Sammy Davis Jr singing 'What Kind Of Fool Am I?'but Sammy had one of his biggest hits with the song.

The song was written by Anthony Newley who was a song writer, actor, film star and he wrote musicals and a lot of big hit songs and acted in 20 films.

Many singers had big hits with some of his songs and his most covered songs were 'Who Can I Turn To?' (covered by 242 artists), 'Goldfinger' (223), 'What Kind of Fool Am I?' (228).

He wrote the songs for 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Stop The World I Want to Get Off', amongst others.

He starred as the pop star in 'Idol On Parade' (a parody of the book Idle On Parade and loosely parodying Elvis's time in the army. He started his early acting career in 1957 and was the Artful Dodger in the 1958 version of Oliver Twist. He was married three times and one of his marriages was to Joan Collins (for seven years).
