Currently Listening To 2023/24

This is the only one i like, even though the women are great singers they spoiled it for me.

 

I cant see how they spoilt it but that was a very different line up in the early days, although I like Albatross, a real one off, I think they went on to bigger and better things.

Not a big fan of Elton but he seems to excel at big events.

 

The day 'Live Aid' was televised @Freddy I was driving between Essex and Devon hoping to get there before it started. I made it with half an hour to spare.

 

Re Fleetwood Mac. They started off as a blues band. This is probably my favourite from that era…

Albatross was recorded during this time, and TBH, I’ve kinda had my fill of it, probably because it got played so often.

The band from then looked doomed, particularly with the departure of Peter Green, (a sad tale in itself) until it totally changed direction with the addition of new members. That change of direction (into the pop world) brought them lots of success.

Overall, I think Fleetwood Mac had tunes to please most tastes, not an easy feat.

 

when a band has men and women in it they always get into relationships with others in the band and that spoils it.

 

How does that spoil the music, I dont think it does.
I only listen to the music.

 

No it doesn't spoil the music but it spoils the band.

 

I think if you go into the lives of those in the music industry you will find lots not to like, best to stick to what you see up front and not delve too deep.

So what do we hear that is original these days, let alone see, I dont profess to know exactly what he is talking about, but I see drastically altered pictures winning photo coemptions these days on TV and it seems to be OK.
One very well know BBC programme seems to allow that kind of stuff all the time.
