    Quite right, the important word is watch. For TV you currently need to buy a TV licence.
    However radio is free to listen to. BBC Sounds requires you to log into the site, but is free to listen to. BBC Sounds is currently separate to BBC iPlayer which requires a TV licence.

    I have never purchased a TV licence or owned a TV, waste of time and money.
    I also only sign into very few sites typically business (for work) and shopping sites.
