I don't expect any of you have heard of Jim Bailey.

He's a classically trained singer, actor, film star, TV personality, TV actor and female impressionist. He's performed at the Palladium numerous times and a number of times for the Royal Family.

Here's just a hint at how good he is at doing female impersonations. This is from a 1972 TV interview show where he sings a bit of Judy Garland (he was friend of hers), and does a brilliant performance of Streisand. I've also seen him do a fantastic performance of Peggy Lee.

Not sure why but this was spinning around in my head all day at work (IT IS A LITTLE SWEARY IN A COUPLE OF PLACES _ YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!).................

Sinead O'Connor did a cover of it but this is my favourite Sinead track..................

Sinead has done some great collaborations over the years but this is by far the best..............

Much less sweary than rugby songs and what is there is not used gratuitously.

Got the Radio 1 rock show on in the background at the moment.

Nothing like a bit of Napalm Death on a Sunday evening. :snork:

@Jenny namaste - that is a classic track. I believe that she is technically a Baroness (or similar) in German nobility as a result of her German mothers ancestry.

                  I love this............

Not a bad return for what started out as a jamming session.............

It was one of the rare highlights from Bowie in the eighties. This is ok too...........

                    And this was better....................

I'm sure that I posted this on the old thread but it deserves to be on the new thread so no apologies! One of the greatest cover versions of all time IMO..............

                    Bowies first classic.....................

Such a shame that The Stone Roses imploded because of their egos...............

Gilbert O'Sullivan was under-rated in the first part of his career (over shadowed by Dylan) but people soon realised how good a songwriter he was. This song has had almost 21 million hits on youtube.

A lot of his songs were his poetry put to music

And some of them were sung in a more upbeat style
