Cut back a hardy fuchsia to move it?

    I never know where to prune them so I leave until the Spring when the are sprouting small leaves.

      Thanks @john558 I will need to move this one asap, but as you say, I will leave the rest until Spring now, don't want to lose them all!

      I've found fuchsias bleed if you prune them in spring, fine if you are just removing dead wood but if you cut into hard wood the sap runs for a few days.
      Not really noticed it causes real problem though, just seems a waste.:smile:
