Cut Flowers

This year I discovered by chance that Statice seedlings grow very well under T5 growlights. Had lots of seedlings in cell modules and not enough room on the greenhouse staging so put some in some spare space under lights and they did really well.

I'll have to make a diary note to sow some very early next year and bring on under lights for some very early flowers, perhaps in a polytunnel. Additional to ones in open ground of course, which insects will have access to, and cleared out to make way for veg when the outdoor ones start flowering.
