My Area in Scotland ,there are no Daffodils in bloom :( . normally at this time of year they are in abundance growing all along the embankments at the sides of the roads and feature Beds . this is the worst i can remember for the ( THE POOR WEE DAFFS ) :(. i remember years when the flowers where like William Wordsworths A HOST OF GOLDEN DAFFODILS. music

I'll check the weather forecast as we may go to visit Kirtling Tower, near Newmarket, which has one of its open days for charity today. They usually open at this time because of their daffodils. They have 70,000 of them and have recently planted 30,000 muscari and chionodoxa.

I hope they are open :thumb:

Also, Thriplow village also have their daffodil festival this weekend.

Several of my daffs opened up this week, more on the way. The ones we split and spread in new places are coming up well, will have lots of yellow everywhere soon.

Only today have our Daffs started opening up. They've been sat in full sunlight and sheltered by the wind and choose today, the wettest for the last month, to show themselves. Such a shame as the petals are getting ripped to pieces by the hail :(
