I'm with you LOL - Emily should have gone, she was by far the weakest skater - however the great british public seem to be fans of her other life, whatever that is.

I'm sorry Lee went, he was a good skater. So all my money now has to be on Kieran.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! I still think Kyran should win but what competetion.

And it's easier for a girl because the guy just flings her around!

 

Even more oh dears ... we're losing Sky ... it's free here except for the movie / sport channels and there's a storm toward Spain and I think interferring us!

Someone may have to tell me who won ... :eek: :eek: :eek:

I knew Kryan would win ... I picked the winner last year and I picked the winner this year, long before the finals!

All were excellent though and Clare was brilliant and so graceful.

Now I have to wait a year again ... sigh!

 

Twas very good. The three finalists are to be congratulated. I'm glad Kieran won but I was sorry Clare and Duncan lost. Ice Dancing and Strictly Come Dancing are two programmes I rate - the competitors put in so much work, and show such talant.

I wonder if they are going to televise one of the tour shows - that would be good.

 

Fran, when are the Strictly Come Dancing shows televised?

 

As I recall, in the Augumn/early winter season. Tis a BBC rather than ITV programme. It started the genre - ballroom dancing - from latin to waltz. Same thing as ice dancing, celebs partnering a pro in a competition - only without an overall champion supervising.

 

I'm a bit like Kandy on this ... just typed the whole thing and without hittin send ... do whatever .. it went a bit into cyberspace ...

So, start again ...

I KNEW Kyran would win! Loved pixie Clare to death and Bonnie coming back into it this week, well ...

Roll on next year ... horrors, I'm wishing another year on my life ...

You have my envy - I watched the main programme, then missed the final bit though I woke up to find Kieran had won. I was glad to hear it, though I was a bit torn with Duncan and Claire. Ah well will watch the repeat tomorrow for the results and skate off.

 

Fran, you will love it all ... absolutely brilliant ... enjoy!

 

Twas and I did. I look forward to the next series - as well as strictly come dancing coming up this autumn. Its a heck of a committment these folks make in terms of hours training. A big round of applause for all those taking part.
