I took some pictures of the unamed bargain seedlings I bought last year, thought I'd deleted them by mistake but just found them, nowhere near as good as yours Wylie but thought these 3 were quite nice, excuse the weeds pictures were taken during all the rain when it was impossible to do anything, all tidy now

I like the 3rd one the best with the yellow/orange center to the petal and surrounded by a rosey red edge and halo. Or maybe its the green throat. :heehee:

I had one of those unamed ones open today - it came as a suprise since it hasn't rebloomed in the past. All it did was remind me why it will be gone very soon. If you are interested, on the Lily Auction, there is a seller by the name of Eurodaylilywho is the same as daylilywonders on eBay. His starting prices are in line with everyone else, and because he is in Belgium, no customs. I had no problems with his seeds this last year, he also gave a good bonus, and will hold your wins until you are ready, so it helps on postage. Seeds -. Plants - :mute:

Yes don't say the plant word :mute: I'm trying not to look :heehee:

I won Sylvie Blondeel x Cobraskin Necktie (hoping for an applique throat); Ruckus x Fantastic Fringe (teeth); and Dreamy Blue Eyes x Xylophone Jazz (blues).:yay: Four Eyes is one of the "hot" ones this year, and will probably go for a lot.

I got Jungle Butterfly this past spring, and it has opened for the first time:
                Jungle Butterfly.JPG
This is known as a butterfly type because the petals are supposed to curve up. You may think it looks like Blue Eyed Bandit, but BEB has sepals that quill down - one of those subtle differences
Then today a seedling that was started this year opened for the first time:
                Purple Maze x Infinity & Beyond.JPG
A pink/orange composite with a small gold bubble edge and eyezone. I am hoping the eyezone will develop more next year.
                Amethyst Reflections x Unk (2).JPG
You have seen my Amethyst Reflections x Unk over and over, but here is the only one that is cream coloured and dormant. Has a yellow halo and green throat.

Here are 2 daylilies that are open today:
                  100_5468.JPG
This is Leroy x President Ronald Reagan. It is a little weathered, but the photo was taken in the evening. A first year bloomer.
                  100_5469.JPG
This is a Joy of Life seedling, also looking a little rough, but these were the best 2 today. We had part 2 of Tropical Storm Nadine pass by. It tore petals and whole flowers off, so these are lucky. John Benoot is getting ready to repeat as is Destined To See, and I have 2 first timers getting close. Only a few more seed pods are left to ripen - 2 involving my avitar (Big Kiss x Barn Owl).:yay:

I finally got a flower on Trahlyta that looks like it should:
                    Trahlyta.JPG
It is too late to do any more crosses, and I have only 10 more pods to ripen. It turned wet and windy, so it is taking a long time for these last few pods.
Honky Tonk Blues x Unk has come through again in a spectacular way:
                    Honky Tonk Blues X Unk.JPG
The white half mid ribs along with a patterned eye make it a terrific keeper.
Then I think they all got together for my birthday and had the first opening of Blue Oasis x Unk:
                    Blue Oasis x Unk (2).JPG
This is 6" across, and has raised mid ribs. The sepals are also quilling as the day goes on (and the rain goes on, then off, then on again).
And while not the best, I still get excited to see one of the polys open:
Sallie Brown x Give Me Eight.JPG
This is Sallie Brown x Give Me Eight, and is 7" across.

Love that Honky Tonk blues cross Wylie :wub2:
My Trahylta has retreated underground now, not much going on at all here although Wisest of Wizards is still putting on a good show, even though the flowers are very 'washed out' now and look more yellow.
Sorry its a bit late but:hpybtd: , hope you had a good day and bought yourself lots of daylily pressies :heehee:

Thanks - my gift to myself was 'Core Values', which should arrive today or tomorrow, and some seeds for New Swirls x Trahlyta, Two Part Harmony x Euro-mazing, and Mask of Eternity x Get Jiggy.:spinning: Wee Wizard is in bloom, as is Lunacy, Little Grapette, one of the seedlings from Eder, Jungle Butterfly, and Julie Newmar. It looks like another long autumn like we had last year. My one I call Streaky has 5 scapes!
