OK, thank you! (Hadn't realised you had swopped my pic :heehee: )

Definitely not tawny, and not really looking like BD  Mine has more of a darker tinge to it.

I have 'Burning Daylight' to Spruce  and its a mid season flowerer much lower growing than Fulva, which does get to 4ft, and not quite as vigorous , here's a picture of my 'Fulva' (which will also have its first flower open tomorrow) and 'Burning Daylight'
          'Fulva'

Strangely enough I rescued mine from a ditch many years ago :heehee: one of my first daylilies, it was the really common one that everyone originally grew before all the new hybrids were introduced, 'Kwanso'(fulva flore pleno) is the double form of it getting to similar height and with the same vigour, another thats not allowed in the daylily bed :nonofinger:

I agree that it looks a lot like the H. fulva, but Spruce's Burning Daylight looks real nice ... I like the subtle mix of the same colour; for example, today I have this:
                Fuchsia Four x Grape Splash.JPG
While it looks a lot like my Better Lucky Than Good x Facepaint (a TET), this is a DIP, Fuchsia Four x Grape Splash. Red with a red eye and green throat.

They send out rhizomes that can quickly choke out everything else. Species types can send them out 3 feet away from the clump, taking over an area quickly. Some hybrids will do it, but it is usually only an inch or two (which makes dividing clumps easier).

One cross, 2 different results, again: Articulate Matrix x Rainbows In Heaven.JPG
This is Articulate Matrix x Rainbows In Heaven, and this one is reblooming with banding in the eyezone. It is an odd dusty rose colour, and you can see on the lower left that a seed pod is turning brown and getting ready for harvest ([A.M x R.I.H.] X John Benoot).
Articulate Matrix x Rainbows In Heaven (2).JPG
Same cross, very different. But unlike a previous time, I have no problem keeping both.
Rainbows In Heaven is a great pollen parent:
                    Sybil's Blues x Rainbows In Heaven.JPG
This is Sybil's Blues x Rainbows In Heaven, and I have found that each flower on its rebloom is thrilling.

I really like Inner View, and it is one of the first to bloom. I was out looking at everything, and a bud on one of my new ones was deformed, so off it came and into the kitchen waste. I keep a very close eye on new plants in case gall midge tries to get started.

I was excited today to see a FFO:
                          Witches Thimble x Indian Weaving.JPG
This is Witches Thimble x Indian Weaving. A massive 2.5" across, it needs to be moved to the front, and even then it might get lost.
One of my Trahlyta x Give Me Eight seedlings opened:
Trahlyta x Give Me Eight (2).JPG
Then I continued out back, past another flower on Lava Spike with all of its teeth, past Gilded By Grace and Star of India - both looking good; and then I came to Paco Paco:
                          Paco Paco.JPG
What else could you expect from Mutant Island? It has a double set of pistils & stamens. I mentioned those other 3 because they got the pollen from this, although it is very hard to get these mutants to produce seed. I do have 1 pod almost ripe with the Hold Your Horses with 5 petals that I crossed to one of my applique throats.
