Those are a couple of nice ones ... before you know it, you'll be spending an hour dead-heading every day ;)
Had my first 2 pods ripen :hapydancsmil:I wait until they begin to crack open before I harvest. 7 seeds of Paradise City x Spacecoast Sea Shells and 8 seeds of (Articulate Matrix x Rainbows In Heaven [the red/pink one I posted a few days ago]) X John Benoot. They are in an egg carton drying out until tomorrow.

I had a first today - 3 years ago, I found a couple of seedlings that were in the last chance box. If there has been no germination and I need the room, the non-germinated get put in a box and checked when I remember. So when I found this one, everything had been planted and there was no room, so it was put in a pot. Somewhere along the way the label was lost, so I have no idea what it is, but it has finally flowered - my first in a pot:
        Unk in vase.JPG
It is nice, but it takes too long.
With 155 tags for crosses, I reached the end limit of making seeds. I had one I wanted to cross today, so I went around checking everything, trying to find one or two that didn't set. I got lucky, and was able to use this:
        Gillian x Thomas Tew.JPG
It is Gillian x Thomas Tew from last year, but this year it keeps giving me these poly types, and today it even had an extra peteloid. So I crossed it with my 2 favourite doubles - the Amethyst Reflections x Unk, and my best Joy of Life sdlg. I will find out next year how well the Joy of Life sdlg works as I have plants growing that use it - hopefully doubles of Mildred Mitchell and John Benoot.

          Good Dooer 1st.jpg
Can someone please tell me what this stunner may be. I got it about 2 years ago and it's the first time its flowered. Sold to me with others and just labeled Good Dooer. Its 16 inches high with a 6 inch flower.

That is nice. It could be Good Deed, but there are no photos to compare it to (even on its hybridizers' site), or it could be American Revolution. Try using its pollen on a DIP and a TET to see if seeds get set to narrow down what it is.

I have been tempted to get Double River Wye several times ... I would have tried crossing it with the Siloam D.K. ;)

I think we need some sunshine  but I do have triple the amount of scapes than I did last year. Hopefully we can come up with some interesting blooms.
All the seedlings are coming on really well.

Fun Fact: Here is Mount Herman Wizard x Time Keeper:
Mount Herman Wizard x Time Keeper (2).JPG
I was reading the rules for registering daylilies, and found that the full "Mount Herman" has to be used because it actually exists in Colorado. No abbreviating to Mt. Herman.

                          "Dream Keeper" [IMG]

Dark pink with extended yellow green throat and dark rose eye. This is Ned's thinnest and most spidery introduction to date. The spider form is pure and very consistent. The creation of a true thin spider has been one of Ned's dreams - truly making this cultivar a "dream keeper". For those breeding for thin spiders, this is a major breakthrough. Five-way branching with a bud count of 20 is a nice bonus. Very fertile both ways. Each bloom has an exceptional 7.75:1 spider ratio! DREAM KEEPER makes small to medium size fans.
