Here's a couple of mine from yesterday :) and yes the flippin gall midged buds on the first one have been exterminated since this picture was taken.

A new one last year (thanks Pollie love it :dbgrtmb: ), not a perfect flower but couldn't wait :hapydancsmil: as the day went on this one looked even better petals started to pinch and curl, lovely colouring described as polychrome orange, ufo crispate with 7inch flowers.

My goodness:yahoo:So many at once, you'd think summer had arrived:heehee:
I see that most are very large, a direction I am slowly moving towards (today's main pollen provider was Buster Ruster).

Since I am a huge fan of doubles, here is a DIP type:
                    Burgess Dragonfly x Lacy Doily.JPG
Burgess Dragonfly x Lacy Doily. 5" across
I do have failures, and here is one:
                    100_7065.JPG
This is suffering from "hangup". Every bloom stays like this because the ruffling interlocks and it cann't open. So it is going to the compost heap.
I do have a late DIP:
                    Laura Harwood (2).JPG
                    Laura Harwood. 7" across
Then there is It's A Miracle:
                    100_7063.JPG
By Joiner, 2000, 5" across. But a very toothy gold edge.

Its a miracle is gorgeous Wylie, a couple more opened today a new one from last year flowering for the first time
'Lacy Doily', 003.JPG I'm starting to really like the doubles to Wylie only thing here is they often take a couple of days to open fully and if we have rain they can be spoiled, but no rain for several days now:dancy:

It's A Miracle wasn't my best one today - 2 blooms on Gilded By Grace was, which I pollenated with Amethyst Reflections x Unk. I like Lacy Doily, and I am currently making a list of what I started this year by cross to location. I see I have already listed 8 seedlings of an Unknown x Lacy Doily. The Unknown is a fuchsia pink with green throat that I hope to make a double by using Lacy Doily - they are all strong and should flower next year.
