Great photos of Pollies :yay: I envy how flat it is, but with the rains the UK got this last winter, it must have been tough on the plants. It looks like you were lucky enough to go right at peak bloom.
Golliwog is a fantastic example of the spatulate form :wub2:, but Mystical Rainbow is the best for me in this group. It is the pollen parent to Articulate Matrix which is the pod parent to several of my seedlings this year, and the banding in the eye on this seems to be easily passed on.:dbgrtmb:
I have a new one open today, and it is a bit of a disappointment:
            Signature Truffle x Abilene Lillian.JPG
Signature Truffle x Abilene Lillian, TET, 5", double. I was hoping A.L. would pass on its red eye & edge. Still, a nice double.

Mystical Rainbows my favourite of that lot too, all lovely though JazzSi

Oh lucky you Rolliekins I'd love to go to Pollies a bit of a long way for me though, hubby promised he'll take me one year and we'll make a weekend of it, its quite near the New Forest isn't it ? so sure we'd find other things to do as well.

If you liked Mystical Rainbow, did you see Solaris Symmetry ? (the pollen parent for that is Destined To See}:heehee:
Have you thought about crossing one of your Witches with Magic Swirls? The 2nd photo on Tinkers of M.S. gave me the idea:ideaIPB:. (Might work with Handsome Dylan as well...)

Oooo just had a look that is very nice, just need 'Mystical Rainbow' or maybe try my 'Enchanted Rainbow' ooo or 'Steely Blue Eyes' .
No I hadn't thought of crossing M S with one of my Witches, could be interesting :dbgrtmb:, what the heck might try all 3 :heehee:, mine looked very like the second picture on Tinkers last year it seems much darker this year I'll post another picture if later flowers are lighter.

And your plant of 'Unidentified Flying Object' Spruce ;), I had split this one but didn't say as it didn't have a deal of root so I wanted to grow it on a bit before sending it,as you can see its doing great.

Try (Star of Fantasy x Iktomi) X Night Beacon. You should get an even darker result:heehee:
La Charmante x one with an applique throat will probably give a good one.
Look closely at the last one to make sure it isn't actually stippled, or if it is just muddy.
