And this one should have been 'Blue Eyed Butterfly' :rolleyespink: damn I was really looking forward to that one, oh well think Pollie has it so I'll order from her, this one is a lovely colour and the petals seem to pinch as the day goes on, very fast increaser to.

I knew I'd seen it on Pollies but couldn't find it in the catalogue  so maybe none for sale at the moment, its definitely on her Flickr photo's though, I'll have to e-mail her and ask her to put me a bit aside when there's some spare
Was hoping to do a bit of crossing today, 'Eight Miles High' has another flower with even better teeth, but its been raining and what pollen there is is being taken very rapidly by the hords of hoverflies.

If it makes you feel better, I was able to make a cross with Eight Miles High [X (Amethyst Reflections x Unk)]. The A.R. sdlg I used has a bud count of 30:wow: I was thinking it might be something you would want .
I have a new "worker" now - Amethyst Island [from Sheila]:

And then there is the first of this years seedling to flower. I have broken off a couple of stalks already on other new ones, but I wanted to see the results on this:

Golden Tear Drops X Free Wheelin' :snooze: 7" across, TET. I haven't been real excited about anything that uses Free Wheelin', and I'm hoping for something worth saving, so I keep trying:wallbanging:

Oh yes that would be something I'd love, might even consider selling one of the kids for :heehee: or even better hubbys car :heehee:
Amethyst Island's a beauty too I haven't looked on Sheilas site for ages, far to tempting :wallbanging:
I did try one cross this morning whether it'll work in this weather I don't know but found a fair bit of pollen on 'Cameroons' so tried that on 'Eight Miles High' I'm finding 'Cameroons' is great as a pod parent have pods forming from crosses of 'Sanford Star Search' and 'Lurch' don't know what that'll make but we'll see, also have a pod forming on 'Quilt Patch' X 'Curly Cinnamon Windmill' , quite a lot haven't formed pods but its all trial and error for me at the moment, still excited about the ones that are :hapydancsmil:

And here's a much better picture of 'Cameroons' from yesterday, it's been covered in flowers for ages now :), and there's one of the pods forming behind.

I have been watching several crosses I made with the last Life Is A Highway flower. It had rained during the night/early morning, but dried out and the flower began making pollen. So I took just the anthers with the pollen, let it sit for an hour inside, then put them in a paper envelope I made with a piece of paper, and put it in the refrigerator overnight. The next day was dry, so I pollenated some flowers and kept special track of them. Most look like they are setting seed, and few didn't. But it looks like there will be several crosses I wouldn't have had otherwise.
I like Cameroons - I have Lexington Avenue which is similar, and both were done by R.W. Munson.
