I was checking everything out on JazzSi's photos, and I ran across one that was very intriguing - a child of Shady Lady, were instead of going for the elongated eye, it was a small, tight eye on a 7" spider [see Nashville Lights].:stirpot:

Another mutant, lurking in my front yard:
    Buster Ruster.JPG
Of course it is Buster Ruster, reblooming. I tried to cross it to Scatterbrain x Big Kiss:
    Scatterbrain x Big Kiss (2).JPG
A brief rain shower came along and got everything wet, so I waited for the pollen on B.R. to dry before using it.
Here is my main stippled type, and of course it is called Stippled Statement:
    Stippled Statement.JPG
A little wet, but you can see the stippling. It is also developing the teeth it is supposed to have.
A new seedling, finally flowering is Canadian Border Patrol x Fringy:

      Buster Ruster :wow:.
Like the Canadian Border Patrol cross :dbgrtmb: I wouldn't expect that at all though you'd expect it to pass on the dark eye wouldn't you ? just shows the nice surprises you can get :)

I got Buster Ruster from Sheila last fall:biggrin:.
This is the second seedling of Canadian Border Patrol x Fringy to flower, and neither have a dark eye nor do they have a green edge that I had hoped for.:frown:

Don Herrell is capable of producing "regular" flowers, and they are just as nice as the odd ones:
            Don Herrell (2).JPG
I saw this and wondered if there was anything I could cross with it. Sadly, I haven't a clue, but I think I was distracted by another one. :heehee: Back on May 7, one of the Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy sdlgs had opened with unimpressive results:
Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy.JPG
Nice ribs, but only 5" across, and there was a better one that opened in another section. I wasn't expecting much when I saw it was going to rebloom. A 3rd sdlg had rebloomed, just as ordinary as its first time. :frown: So I was very suprised when I saw this today:
Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy.JPG
9" across :hapydancsmil:Now it is another keeper.
There is one seedling I have to keep deadheaded, simply because the weight of everything will cause it to tilt. This is 3 flowers on the same scape of (you guessed it) Amethyst Reflections x Unk.

'Crintonic Shadowlands' thought the eye looked really nice on this one today.
                002.JPG
                Another mutant 'La Charmante'
                005.JPG
And I hate it when this one starts blooming its always the last to start so it means the season will soon be over :cry3:, unless we get any rebloom of course :).

You will know the feeling soon - won't you be getting several seedlings next year?:hapydancsmil: Crintonic Shadowlands was new for me this year and it looks like I have to wait until next year for my first flower.
Looks like a hoverfly party in your yard today.:ccheers:

Yes can't wait for next years seedlings :hapydancsmil:, the ones on the allotment are coming on great and I planted a few more out just yesterday, ones that weren't very big in the spring, mainly as I need the pots for all your seedlings from this year ;).
Crintonic Shadowlands didn't flower the first year here either.
Oh yes swarms of hoverflies at the moment no pollen left at 8o'clock this morning!!!!!, they're up earlier than me :heehee:, no chance of any crosses today.

Never seen so many hoverflies here, they only appeared after the rain & pollen beetles too.

Finally some rain, but that means I have an excuse to not pollenate anything ;)
What is open is not one of the mutant crowd, but an actual poly. Fuchsia Four x Grape Splash. Both parents are polys, and I really like this one.:

Here is one that I have been watching:
Magic of Oz x Ashee Dashee.JPG
If you said; Oh no - not another photo of that Amethyst Reflections x Unk; you would be wrong! This is the Magic of Oz x Ashee Dashee double :heehee: They do look alike, but this is more spidery. Singles the whole time of its inital bloom, now it is about 50% double.
I've mentioned before how patterns can change from flower to flower on the same plant; well Wild Horses x Heavy Metal has an exceptional look today:
Wild Horses x Heavy Metal (2).JPG
It is the pattern on the sepals - almost a cathedral arch, that sets this one apart.
