The problem begins when you have to have every variety of every plant, daylilys, fuchsias, dahlias, I am worried already with loads of baby plants to go out where they are all going.

:dancy: I have one as well "Creature of the Night" 1st time flowering for me so cant wait , the sunshine and warmth over the past couple of days have brought them all on, raining lightly today so "Seaweed extract" will be watered on later today .

Last of my seeds have finally sprouted "Magic Dancer x Gold Elephant" or it could be the other way around :th scifD36: about 3 up so far I will have to write on the labels next time how many seeds I have planted.
I am deffo going to do crosses again this year, and have a go at freezing the pollen
"Rodeo Clown" I would like to use so will do some re-search on this but I do need it to flower 1st !
The brother labeling garden printer I have finally :thud: managed to work out how to use is really good.
Ebay has/d some very tempting varieties on but No just being greedy

I'm back !! I have had no Internet for 3 weeks because of Service Provider problems. I finally had to terminate and switch to a different company. But it doesn't mean my garden suffered. There are so many new ones, I'll have a hard time catching up. But I'm starting with applique throated ones. You may remember the purple one I have, well Amber Rhum x Kazoo is turning out to be a very fertile line.

              Amber Rhum x Kazoo.JPG
The eye is much tighter on this seedling.
              Amber Rhum x Kazoo (2).JPG
This is more Kazoo than Amber Rhum. But both are children of Catcher In The Eye.

These seedlings are also full of tags for seed crosses.

Sounds like an excuse for a raiding party:loll:I have had a couple of unusual ones:
                  Hold Your Horses (2).JPG
This is Hold Your Horses - I was suprised to see a 5 petaled flower.
                  Spotted Fever x Screaming Eels.JPG
Spotted Fever x Screaming Eels. On another seedling of this cross I got this:
                  Spotted Fever x Screaming Eels.JPG
                  It is only 4" across.
Another pair of seedlings is Angel Fairy Tern x Judge Nancy:

A 5" TET, and coming in at 8" is its sister:

I managed to take over 300 photos this month!

I was just out back looking at everything, and there are lots and lots of flowers... and lots of dead-heading to be done. I'm trying something different this year - collecting the pollen for short term storage instead of freezing it. I collect the pollen and put it in a paper envelope, let it air dry for an hour, and then put it in the refrigerator for use within a day or two. It seems to be working with Free Wheelin' pollen.

I am starting to get a couple of spider/cascade types to work with. Here are two different seedlings of Apophis x Frilly Bliss:
                            Apophis x Frilly Bliss (2).JPG
                            Apophis x Frilly Bliss.JPG
Both are 8" and the scapes are 24"+.
Today I made a hopeful cross of Honky Tonk Blues x Unk:
                            Honky Tonk Blues x Unk.JPG
This is a 6" DIP, and it was crossed with:
Black Arrowhead x Malachite Prism sdlg.JPG
Black Arrowhead x Malachite Prism sdlg. This is 8" across. White Pink Dragon x Arnette Zapel.JPG
White Pink Dragon x Arnette Zapel. Of all the photos today, this is the only TET. It was bonus seed, and is also 8".
                            Unk x Smoke Scream (2).JPG
This is Unk x Smoke Scream - it just makes a good photo.
