:D :D :D :D ... and not that THEY were found under cabbages??? Must be a nice Scottish rendition of the the English tale! Love it, and MUST remember it ...

 

Three excellent photographs, Firemedic. Particularly the burning candle. Exposure and sharpness spot on and exposure for such a shot is so difficult as flame usually burns the image out or sets up lens flare. Well done indeed!

The candle is one of my "arty farty" (to quote my wife) pictures as I was trying out my early christmas pressie.
I think I face some stiff competition though, Glen W's deer pics are good

 

Just saw your fireplace picture, roders, and noticed your wooden cat peeking over the cards ... does she want to come live with my collection of wooden cats?

 

The four candles is superb Petal...Brilliant.

 

jeepers ive been looking hard for some decent photos for the competition but just couldnt come up with anything worthy, so at this stage ill just offer the best of luck to all .and ill take part in the voting.

 

Well just been looking through all the pics with a view to voting - not easy again this month :(
