Here is my first picture for this month's competition. It was taken last Christmas at the annual charity swim in Lowestoft (England's most easterly town). I liked the positioning of the contrast of the wrapped up lady taking the picture and the guy in his swim suit doing his bit for the children's hospice on Christmas Day. He wasn't the only one, there were hundreds of equally brave souls who took the plunge. To me this sums up the Christmas spirit.

Since Christmas is usually associated with snow...

I was called out to this, this morning. this photo was taken at about 08.15am. The lorry had hit the railway bridge and tipped over resulting in a 4 hour road blockage. The driver was fine was able to walk away unscathed but with a severe bruising to his ego.....

And boy, did it snow :( :( :(

Ickleweed, great 'action' pic. Thank goodness there are people willing to turn out at 8.15 a.m on a snowy winter morning! Bless them all!

Me, I was still snuggled under the duvet at that time knowing I should be getting up to do the breakfast!

This is the strangest Christmas present I have ever received. Can you see what it is??
