Oh Helen, i've only just caught this post. How lovely. That's what we'll have, not a lot of space. Mind you Bob is going to deck the back now isn't he!! I just want a little too!

I really only want it to cover the crazy paving(which you've all heard about now, sorry) cos it does look horrible. Not because it's crazy paving as such just cos we've got that bit, then concrete, then slabs! Now i'm into the garden, hb says how can we afford it all, but i keep showing him all your pics & advice, & although we don't have much money bless him, he loves the garden now. It doesn't have to cost alot.

Thanks again, i'm not going to keep saying that [IMG] I will [IMG]

    cheers

Sandra your project can be added to bit by bit as and when you can afford and have the time.

Sandra sweetie I think the most expensive bits were the boards but truth be told we used only the ones you can get from B & Q for around a fiver should have been £6 but they were on sale.

I think we used around about 10 or 11 and the other supporting posts we got real cheap from a carboot along with the screws £2 for a HUGE box.

The bricks were just knocking about the place and it saved us taking them to the skip so once again that was something I could recycle.

A couple of bags of sand and cement and I think the whole project came around £80 not bad as you must all know by now I do so love a bargain!

Sandra if Ray isn't all that DIY handy fear not just encourage with with a good old cuppa and plenty of praise and he might just surprise himself what he can do!Hel.xxx.

Good on you Sandra a nic edeck for your lovely planters and for you to sit with a nice cuppy or even a glass of wine.

Shame we were not so close we would have helped you to put it together.

My husband so enjoyed putting our decks together.

Enjoy dreaming of how it could be.
