          I did watch Downton Abbey & Mr Selfridge BUT I was multitasking, I did the ironing at the same time! :yahoo:

            I find the TV so boring @Anthony Rogers, it's ok for background noise.....well as long as it's not the soaps, too much shouting & arguing for my liking! :)

              On the whole I have to agree with you Beckie. If you're selective there are a few gems however. Some of the Scandinavian stuff such as The Bridge and The Killing are completely out of this world and the French Series Spiral is as good as it comes.
              Here in the UK we occasionally hit the high notes with programs such as The Shadowline and the first series of Broadchurch.
