Did anyone get any gardening goodies for Xmas ?

Daughter gave me one of those 'weather station' gadgets, where you have a sensor outside which relays the information to the display screen indoors.

The indoor unit display gives you a whole heap of useful(?) information; outside temperature and humidity, indoor temperature and humidity, whether the temperature is rising or falling (inside and out), time and date, phase of the moon, predicted weather and a little face which supposedly gives you an indication of the 'comfort level'.

Only thing is, the moon phase is wrong all the time. That could really irritate a pedant.

 

Wish list went out, but all I got was a bag of coal.
I must have been really bad.

 

I got money so I bought a Gardena micro irrigation set and some add on fixtures for it to get it up and running for the garden and my greenhouse for when I'm away! My neighbour ruined some of my plants last season :( Was not happy and i even left her strict instructions! Ignored clearly! :(

 

I got £30 Garden Centre vouchers, a bird box resembling the old buildings in my home town of Northwich, a wood garden ornament and a seed box
