Worse are the lazy parents who drop their kids off at school. When I used to walk mine to school (admittedly a few years ago) we had to dodge the parents reversing out of their drives with one child in the back, then we would have to dodge them again outside the school as they parked crazily on pavements, then when I walked home I usually got back quicker than they did

These same parents then drove to the gym to get some exercise before work :dunno:

We have that problem in the village . They cause chaos outside the school :wallbanging:

The Council have been trying to get the village hall, next door to the school, to open their car park for them. The village hall, quite rightly, refuse. They had to put a barrier in to stop them because the Chelsea Tractors were damaging the walls of the village hall :rolleyespink: (it's made of wood), being driven very poorly in a small space and children had been injured and they had done damage to the surface of the car park causing it to need a £17,000 resurfacing.

                      You were lucky!
I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed, crawl to school where headmaster would whip us to death then go to mill and work 14 hours a day week in week out.
You tell that to the young people today and they won't believe you.

"The three wise monkeys (Japanese:alternatively sanbiki no saru, literally "three monkeys"), sometimes called the three mystic apes,[ are a pictorial maxim. Together they embody the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". The three monkeys are Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil; and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil."

The legend of the monkeys is thought to go back over 1,500 years but the depiction of them is on the 400 year old Toshogu Shrine to Tokugawa Ieyasu in Nikko, Japan.
