Mike, as far as I and the rest of the GC Gang are concerned there is no reason to lose GC from your Life. You're our much respected Friend and member of the GC Gang, believe me, we all think the best of you so there's no danger of you never being a member of the GC Gang unless you chose to leave, and I hope you never do that. We know that, Mike, and lots of members appreciate the fact that you go to all that effort to try to give them good advice along with the other members who try to do so......so don't please don't stop doing that for the members.
@Mike Allen and a great big hug from me too! I've always appreciated any and all advice so thank you. I am struggling with isolation and as I dont partake in normal social media, apart from the grocery delivery man this forum can often as not be my only interaction with the world.
Oh Mike it makes me so sad to read this . If only I lived nearer , I would tap on your window for a social distancing chat ( via the window only, sadly) . Keep positive ,the Jabs are rolling out thick and fast and Spring is just around the corner, there is an ever brightening light at the end of the tunnel.
I have only just seen this thread and although we now have to make a big decision ourselves re land that is up for sale at the end of our garden, just occurred, so rather wrapped up in ourselves, but certainly now know this has been rather upsetting for you Mike and send you our Love and hope now its off your chest you will feel a little better..Being lonely, isolated and worrying about your Daughter you just have been thinking..can it get any worse..NO..positively you will not let that happen..We do things differently when under such bad conditions and I am sure like me people will not be walking on eggshells ,so watch out we will treat you just as we have been.....
I have just read your posting and I have dust in my eyes trying to write this. Mike, there is no shame in shedding a tear. I haven’t been a member here long myself, but have discovered that the are so many nice people on here willing to share their experiences and their time. There are always people about on here that are willing to listen to whatever you want to say. We may not have the answers but we can help ease the loneliness a little. With the vaccine well under way hopefully it won’t be to much longer before we reach some normality. Keep safe
