Thank you, miraflores and it's difficult. I'm a "green" person so like the halter top but here in the heat the red/orange backless (just ties at the waist) is nice. I also like the pink/green one (one of my favourite colour combos and strangely my school uniform colours! ) as it's low back and has a shell border on the bottom ... but also like the one to the left. It's very comfortable to wear and also has the shell border on the bottom.

Thank you as well, luckyboo! [IMG]

HI everyone update on my crochet well what a mess .
jus tcould no tget this pattern to work out.

I wen tto our local church hall this afternoon as there was craft class on so bought more wool and if I cna master this hat only cost me £1.25.

Dendy sent me a copy of a Patons hat pattern so can understand this.

But I had acourse on untill 7.00pm then it was my dance nigth as you all know I am learning to ballroom dance with my h.

So I drove there after my course so not long home.

I did say to the ladies I will go back to their craft class its mainly knitting and patchwork.

I really would be like to be abl eto crochet a shrug for myself so they said they would help me or guide.

    So all is working out.

What a very wet afternoon it has been today.LOL nice tops.

Dendy sad as it is took started to crochet in bed after I finished reading.

My husband does not get home until Sat.

When he is away I have problems trying to slee p then it catches up with me.

But that wee bit of tution from craft class was enough to set me on my way.

Its even looking like a hat and ony on my 5th rnd.

So maybe yes I will be able to crochet a shrug.

A nice winter project for everyone when weather turns nasty.

A lot of nice colours of wool in the shops.

And at Ã?£1.25 a cheap hat could have a colour for each day. [IMG] I am so happy.

I am absolutely sure that in the end you will manage to crochet the hat and the shrug, at least one if not more than one. The only thing is to take it in bits. If you are too tired or unhappy with how the work is proceeding leave it aside and don't rush it or get angry over it. And then the day after or maybe two days after you pick the right moment in the day to look at it again and read again the instruction to see whether it makes sense.
For instant my approach to crochet etc is a bit wild in the sense that I find it easier to make things by myself than following the instructions, but nevertheless if I can give you a hand...

May I present you with my compliment Scotcat for the excellent choice of colours and combination of colours of the brown/blue set (which is also in fashion). That brown doesn't say much in itself but I know that it looks beautiful on a fair complexion, even better if the colour of your eyes matches the blue tones.
