Nice poncho you are making there scotcat... I wouldn't go too long if I was you as the shape seem to be quite roundish and the pattern quite compact.
Will you finish it with long fringes or no fringes?

Just finished crocheting knee blanket for local hospice.Enjoyed making this nice cheery citrus blanket .

Miraflore needed to put poncho on hold to get hospice blanket finished.

Think I will do a shell finish stitch insead of fringes.

That's lovely, Scotkat. Same colours as you! :D

It looks like you've done it in the shell stitch. That's a stitch I like for blankets and they go very quickly.

Do you go look in the charity shops for the yarn?

    Well done you!

A neighbour gave me two bags of wool as a donation.Hospive relies on donations of wool.

Now started another blanket for hospice a different pattern this time its a ripple pattern.

Colours I have are blues so imagine this as sea waves. These were the colours that was in the bag I got from a neighbour.Thought wehn I coem to th eedgign could use white and sometiems if you walk along th ebeach you can get foam.

Maybe the edging could be a shell then it would be sea shells.
