Dog Barking at half 1am !!

i don't mind barking dogs as much as i do whining dogs! (although of course that too is very irritating) but someone in our area has a dog with the most pitiful whine imaginable, it seems to reverberate around the place when he starts at night...that sound is just, just horrid

Gdnam, that's all we need. the Americans making more whiskey, they couldn't make whiskey to save there lives. Give me a bottle of grouse or bushmills any day.

 

What I don't understand is, how the people that own these animals can stand the noise. There's a dog in the house at the back of mine and it gets hysterical when anything moves....and I mean anything! I have to shut my windows and doors during the summer because it's outside all day, the only time I get any peace is when the owners are out and it's shut in. It's not the dogs to blame but the inconsiderate owners!

I've spoken to our local equivalent of the RSPCA and they say there's nothing they can do, I have to report it to the 'Noise Pollution' Department at our Government offices.

 

Sheal, I think these people just don't hear the noise ... they are so tuned out ... wish I could be sometimes ...

 

I think you're right Victoria. My dogs in the past have never been allowed to do this, they always responded to the words 'No!' and 'Inside!' People are to irresponsible and lazy to train their animals now, it makes me furious!
