Fletch does the chase me thing - usually socks, slippers, occasionally shoes (he does look funny with one of my size 11 boats hanging out the side of his face), but with him it is when he is excited. Daft as a brush. He will give things back once I growl at him and he realises I am not playing.

Another idea @Fat Controller could be to construct a barrier with some recycled pallets, joined and cut to your preferred height and width. You could paint them the same colour as your containers and attach some castors (lockable ones) to make access easy (for you!). This, of course, assumes that your DIY skills are better than mine :heehee:.

My DIY skills are terrible to awful... I have a go, but, I am no carpenter. Given that we've just spend a day burning scrap wood (some of which was an old pallet) and we have another day of burning stuff tomorrow, if I went out and got pallets to start dismantling to make something, Mrs C would swing for me.

        I sympathise with you Fc
I don't know if this would work for you as it did for me, by accident
Our fence was quite plain so I brightened it up by adding wind chimes. I had pots along the fence like yourself.

I had the same problem with my four rescue dogs ( around Ten years ago.)
Little did I know the dogs didn't like them.so instead of jumping on the pots they would stand barking at these:noidea::smile:.adding there bit .........for some reason it got very noisy though it did keep them off the pots

I'd give it a shot! Not sure it would stop my two though, they certainly don't bother with the ones next door have twinkling away.

I think it was more that they could see them moving as where we are the only people they see are dog walkers and the horses in the livery .
