    time ago I`ve seen this plant in Spain and when i came back I was looking to get one , but couldn`t even find any seeds , then I was reading how what a slow grower plant it is and totally forgot about.....as a specimen look great but as a small plant look like a fat yucca that need protection , nice but not worth the effort i suppose.
    I was try to find out more about this plant and apparently peoples who got one is just because they collected seeds or cutting while on Holiday.

    if it would be a frost hardy would have look great ......the one i bough was this size

    loads of new exotics coming into the UK

    my latest purchase has been 2 Alocasia Mayan mask

    still small ones, and have potted them in airpots and will nurse them for a month or so until the weather warms, then will plant them out

    there are a few others that i am after and am searching the internet

    Dim I`m telling you somethink really funny.......tesco was selling alocasia african mask for £3 each or 2 for £5 sold in ceramic pot .

      that was 2 weeks ago , last week they had orchids and brugmansia for £5 .
      there are tropical plants everywhere :yawn:
